SOURCE:Domtar

DESCRIPTION:

People are at the room of healthy forests. Domtar’s sustainable forestry work is featured in an upcoming episode of the PBS series This American Land, the leading conservation news program that reports on critical issues affecting America’s natural landscapes, waters and wildlife. This compelling clip is a testament to the work that Domtar and its partners are doing to maintain the integrity of America’s forests.

You’ll hear from small landowners in Arkansas – the “wood basket of the world” – who are passionate about maintaining their forests as a legacy for future generations. In the words of one sustainable tree farmer, “My first memory of being in the forest is when we would come to visit my grandmother. The honor and respect that I have for the forest – this is something that my family has done for generations.”
